Depart from Fes and head towards the Sahara Desert passing through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we will visit the picturesque town of Ifrane, known as "the Switzerland of Morocco," and Azrou, a Berber village famous for its cedar forest and resident monkeys. We will stop for lunch in Midelt before continuing towards Merzouga, where we will ride camels into the desert and spend the night in a Berber camp under the stars.
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga. After breakfast, we will depart towards Tinghir and the Todra Gorge, where we will stop for a short hike and lunch. We will then continue on to the Dades Gorge, where we will spend the night in a traditional Kasbah.
After breakfast, we will head towards Ouarzazate, passing through the scenic road of the Thousand Kasbahs and the Valley of Roses. Along the way, we will stop to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village that has been used as a backdrop for many Hollywood movies. After lunch, we will continue towards Marrakech, passing through the High Atlas Mountains and the famous Tizi-n-Tichka Pass.
Explore the vibrant city of Marrakech, known for its bustling souks, colorful markets, and stunning architecture. Visit the famous Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the beautiful Majorelle Garden. Take a stroll through the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you can experience the local culture and sample the delicious street food. End the tour with a drop-off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
