We will start our journey from Tangier and drive towards Chefchaouen, a charming blue-hued town nestled in the Rif Mountains. Here, you can take a stroll through the picturesque streets and admire the beautiful architecture and colorful souks. After exploring Chefchaouen, we'll continue to Fes, one of Morocco's oldest and most fascinating cities. In Fes, we'll stay in a traditional riad and have a chance to explore the city's bustling medina, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Royal Palace.
Today we'll head towards the Sahara desert, passing through the stunning Middle Atlas Mountains. On our way, we'll stop at the beautiful town of Ifrane, known for its Swiss-style chalets and lush greenery. We'll then continue to Midelt, where we'll have lunch and enjoy the stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. From there, we'll drive to Merzouga, a small town at the edge of the Sahara desert. Here, we'll ride camels into the heart of the desert and spend the night in a traditional desert camp, where you can enjoy a Berber dinner under the stars and listen to traditional Moroccan music around the campfire.
We'll wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara desert before returning to Merzouga on camels. From there, we'll drive to Ouarzazate, a city known as the "Gateway to the Sahara". Here, we'll visit the famous Kasbah Taourirt and explore the town's ancient alleys. We'll then continue to Ait Benhaddou, one of the most iconic Kasbahs in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll have lunch here and explore the fortified village, which has been featured in numerous movies, including "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones". Finally, we'll drive towards Marrakech, one of Morocco's most vibrant and exciting cities, where we'll spend the night in a hotel.
Today we'll explore the vibrant city of Marrakech, starting with a visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in the city. We'll then head to the Bahia Palace, a beautiful 19th-century palace that showcases the best of Moroccan architecture and design. After that, we'll visit the Saadian Tombs, a complex of graves dating back to the 16th century. In the afternoon, we'll head to the bustling Djemaa el-Fna square, where you can enjoy the lively atmosphere and street performers. We'll also have some time to explore the colorful souks, where you can find everything from spices to handcrafted goods. The tour will end in the evening, and we'll transfer you to the airport or your next destination.
