On the first day of the tour, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Ouarzazate in the morning and embark on a scenic drive through the Draa Valley, a picturesque region famous for its date palms and fortified villages. Along the way, you will stop at the village of Tamgroute to visit the famous Quranic library and pottery cooperative, where you can learn about the traditional ceramics and handicrafts of the region. You will then continue to the village of M'hamid, where you will enjoy a cup of tea with local Berber families before heading off-road towards the Chegaga Dunes. The drive takes you through the Iriqui National Park, where you can spot a variety of desert wildlife such as fennec foxes and desert birds. You will arrive at the Chegaga Dunes in time for sunset, where you can take in the breathtaking views of the sand dunes stretching as far as the eye can see. You will spend the night in a traditional nomad tent, where you will be treated to a delicious Moroccan dinner under the starry desert sky.
