Embark on an extraordinary 4-day desert adventure to Merzouga, starting with a departure from your hotel in Ouarzazate at 08:00 in the morning. Our first stop is the captivating Skoura palm grove, where we visit the renowned Kasbah Amerhidil. Continuing our journey, we reach Kelaa Mgouna, where the landscape transforms into a vibrant display of green tree gardens and blooming roses. Traverse through the picturesque Dades Valley and make our way to Todra Gorges, where we enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant nestled amidst the towering 300-meter-high canyons. In the afternoon, we proceed to Erfoud via Tinejdad, discovering fascinating fossils and their extraction sites. Finally, we reach the majestic dunes of Merzouga in Erg Chebbi. After a brief rest, ride camels to the oasis where you'll spend the night in a nomad tent, delighting in a traditional dinner.
Rise early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes, then return to the hotel for a refreshing shower and breakfast. We venture to the Khamlia village to experience the captivating live Gnawa music. Next, embark on an off-road tour of the sand dunes, pausing to enjoy tea with nomads in their Berber tents, gaining insight into their way of life. Afterward, we return to the hotel.
Start your day with an early breakfast, then depart for Rissani. Explore its captivating tourist area, including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm grove, immersing yourself in eco-tourism exploration. Enjoy lunch in Tazzarine before continuing through the picturesque Draa Valley towards Zagora. Indulge in a delightful dinner and spend the night in a hotel in Zagora.
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a journey through the stunning Draa Valley and Agdz, uncovering the hidden treasures of the Southern region. Immerse yourself in the rich traditions and customs of the South as you explore. Lunch is served in the Kasbah of Tamnougalte. Afterward, experience the groves as part of the eco-tourism in the Draa region. Our adventure concludes as we arrive in the African Hollywood, Ouarzazate, at approximately 5:00 pm.
