Rabat & Casablanca on Al Jazeera Qatar Channel| The Traveller
Morocco has been inspiration for many artists all over the world – lots of photographers and filmmakers came to visit this mysterious country. No wonder why, right? The Moroccan architecture is splendid, food is amazing, and the landscapes are so various, that everyone will find something interesting here.
Every year more people find inspiration in Morocco, and this year Al Jazeera Arabic is launching Al Mosafer (English: “the traveller”) series – a travel-related program that aims at highlighting the adventure, knowledge and culture that comes from travel. Not surprisingly, Morocco is the country that starts the series!
Starting from this month, October 2017, Al Jazeera Arabic will launch a short episode each week. The first four weeks (all October) belong to Morocco.
Even though the program is entirely in Arabic language, the images and landscapes are so breathtaking, that even non-Arabic speakers can watch and enjoy it!
Together with Al Jazeera, I’d like to invite you to watch the beautiful episode that presents the best of Rabat, and my forever beloved city of Casablanca. If you follow my blog and my adventures, you know that I am very sentimental about Casablanca. I love the way it has been presented in the first episode:
The first episode of “The Traveller” starts in the north west of the dark continent in Morocco and is divided in four parts. The journey starts from the capital Casablanca, followed by Rabat, then the traveler heads to Tangiers and visits its most important landmarks such as the caves of Hercules, Café Hafa, and the flea market. Later on he heads to the blue city of Chefchaouen, followed by the waterfalls of Akchour and Fes. South of Fes, he travels 100 Km towards the city of Ifran (also known as Swiss Morocco), then sets out to Michelifene. He then travels to the city of Beni Mellal (also known as the bride of the Atlantic), then goes to Ein Osrdon. He travels another 200 Km to the red city of Marrakesh, from which he travels to the city of Agadir, then heads to Ouarzazate and concludes his journey and the Moroccan episodes of the show in Zagora.
